Our Sangha grew and continues to be built around a committed "membership" structure, which is somewhat different from many dharma groups. We invite visitors to come for several consistent meetings to get to know us and then decide if we are a good match for their dharma path. "Membership" only requires a commitment to attending our sitting group "more often than not" and "whether you want to or not" to ensure our growth and stability as a tight-knit practice community. In doing this, we sustain mature practice energy in our sitting meditations and discussions. Members of our practice community have all had some form of Insight Meditation training and study and are not "beginning" practitioners. We highly encourage taking an MBSR class prior to joining a sangha such as ours. Our class offerings are here.
